Bushcraft Courses
Join us at our extensive woodland venue of over a thousand acres in the north of Sheffield in South Yorkshire, or our stunning oak canopied private woodland set within the Harewood Estate of West Yorkshire. Our canopied basecamp and a wood fire ensure our clients keep dry and the kettle is always boiling so bring along your favourite brew.
All of our sessions are run with a maximum of either 10 or 8 people, that way we can maintain a low presence in the forest in order to experience Nature up close. The small group sizes also ensure a high level of interaction with the instructor, we'll get plenty of one to one tuition through the workshops to develop your skills at your own pace.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, we're very open and there's no obligations.
Peregrine Bushcraft Course - A Nomadic Experience
Peregrine Bushcraft Course - A Nomadic Experience
A course to give you a detailed and practical experience on being mobile in the landscape.
A four night, four day bushcraft course developed to provide you with hands on tuition in skills for navigating terrain, tackling obstacles, and applying bushcraft skills whilst moving along a journey.
This course will combine bushcraft skills with navigation, obstacle strategies and water traversing techniques to provide a course on movement through the landscape.
The Peregrine Bushcraft course will return! But given our action packed 2024 calendar, we simply couldn’t fit it in this year. We are however running the new Peregrine Days, which cover the specialist skills during single day courses.
As our bushcraft skills develop there will come a time for most people when we want to press those skills to a journey, and in covering ground not only do those techniques we’ve learnt get honed by the trail but we find a need for other skills which we have yet to utilise. This course is nomadic, you’ll need to carry your outfit on your back and we’ll be covering ground each day. Elements of the course will take place on open heathland, in the forest, over steep rough terrain, and on water. This is a course for those that have an understanding of basic bushcraft and outdoors skills and want to apply them on a journey, and develop a broader range of skills along the way.
