£135.00

Discover the essential skills of traditional hunting combined with modern air rifle techniques in this brand-new one-day Lightfoot Air-Hunter course: perfect for beginners and bushcraft enthusiasts.

Hunting was once a vital survival skill, deeply woven into the fabric of wilderness living. Our ancestors relied on hunting not only for food but also for clothing, tools, and bindings made from every part of the animal. This course offers a unique opportunity to step back in time and learn the fundamental skills of camouflage, stealth, and silent movement through natural terrain.

Using a sub-12 ft lb air rifle, you’ll develop patience, precision, and close-range shooting skills essential for this challenging but rewarding form of hunting. Guided by expert instructors, you’ll practice accuracy and gain practical knowledge to prepare you for ethical, effective air rifle hunting.

Whether you’re interested in hunting for sport, supplementing your diet with small game, or exploring traditional bushcraft uses like fur tanning and bone tool crafting, this course lays the foundation for your journey.

Please note: No live quarry will be shot during the course; all shooting practice is conducted in a safe, controlled environment.

During our bushcraft courses small game may be provided as part of the food provision, we take pride in sourcing our meat in what we feel to be as ethical a way possible. In mind of this ethos, we crafted this course. It may be a daunting prospect to start out in hope of securing some of your diet from hunted game, but it is our belief that this admirable goal should be accessible to anyone.

Hunting with sub-12 ft lb air rifles is perfectly within reach for most people, and the pairing with bushcraft makes for a well-rounded skill set that was very common not too long along. Our LITE course aims to introduce you the skills to safely stalk and hunt small game species. The small game species of pigeon, squirrel and rabbit form the backbone of bushcraft cookery in the UK and can then lead onto making use of furs and other craft skills.

The aim of this course is to equip the candidate with the knowledge, understanding, and awareness of airgun hunting techniques.
