Manufacturer":

Hulas is a household name in Nepal. Almost every Nepalese praises the high quality of the product from their own country. That is special, because almost everything in this beautiful Himalayan country is imported from China and India.

No matter how big and respected Hulas is in their own country, almost no one knows this company outside. The family business was therefore pleasantly surprised when Straid showed interest. Because Hulas makes stainless steel products and they excel, almost literally, in practical use and are also super durable.

In addition, Hulas produces in a corner of Nepal, 250 meters from the Indian border, where unemployment is high. By producing there, more and more people are prevented from moving to the big (capital) city or leaving the country to work abroad under inhumane conditions.

The production conditions are quite primitive by Western standards. Some machines are indestructible and 30 years old, but Hulas also invests in new technology every year, for example, the logo is no longer etched into the products with acid, but a modern laser has been used since 2022: safer and better for the environment. By taking the products, a good business bond has been created that offers room for dialogue, so that we can achieve various improvements step by step.
